Went to Frodsham Marsh yesterday for the first time in ages. Good sightings of Sedge and reed Warbler, Reed Bunting, scores of Goldfinch, Meadow Brown and Skippers in good numbers. On the river were Tufted duck, Coot, Shoveler female with chicks, Redshank, Shelduck, Great Crested Grebe and the current semi-resident Red-Necked Grebe. I would post some photos but I don’t see an option to upload? A good afternoon despite having to wade through the reeds to get to the causeway.
