The monthly WeBs count on Ince marsh fields produced 14 Mallard,32 Eurasian Teal, 7 Tufted Duck, 19 Gadwall, 1 Northern Shoveler, 1 Eurasian Wigeon,15 Eurasian Coot, 4 Common Moorhen, 2 Little Grebe, 2 Grey Heron,

2 Great Egret, 14 Little Egret, 2 Western Cattle Egret, 3 Mute Swan, 3 Canada Goose, 4 Greylag Goose, 34 Eurasian Curlew, 60 Black-tailed Godwit, 36 Stock Dove.The Little Egret flock and the 2 Western Cattle Egret  seem to have change their allegiance with just 2 little’s foraging with the pigs while 8 little’s and 2 Cattle Egret were in with the cows. Four more Little and 1 Cattle were foraging near the pools with 2 Grey Heron. Also 60 Black-tailed Godwit were feeding nearby.

Onto the stubble fields alongside the Holpool Gutter and 2 Great Egret were again in the area with 3 Greylag, 34 Eurasian Curlew and 36 Stock Dove.

Looking over Lordship Marsh and the Whooper Swan herd of 23 could be seen in the distance with a couple of Greylag and Canada Goose for company. There were small skeins of Pink-footed Goose passing overhead making their way to the Frodsham Score.
