A very brief visit to the marsh after work and without a sole about it was obviously in total isolation. I walked along Moorditch Lane where the singing Cetti’s Warbler have entrenched themselves in the Mersey Valley.
A look over No.6 tank was rather quiet with c100 Tufted Duck, Common Shelduck and a drake Northern Pintail upending with the Mallard. A Western Marsh Harrier was looking bedraggled sat on its perch.
I walked back throughly soaked inside and out.
