An after work walk again in complete isolation. A walk along Moorditch Lane and a few warblers were singing from the wayside vegetation.
A look over No.6 tank revealed 4 Pied Avocet, 142 Tufted Duck and an assortment of ducks and the drake Northern Pintail reappeared.
The ‘phalarope pool’ was overrun with cattle wallowing in the pool and any chance of Little Ringed Plover, Common Redshank and Northern Lapwing attempting to nest here are well and truly ended.
