Image may contain: sky, outdoor, water and nature

A quick dash down to the marsh for the last of the light after work. The flock of Common Teal have increased since Sunday with c650 birds present. A few Shoveler and 17 Mallard made up the rest of aytha. There were 23 Black-tailed Godwit and a smattering of Lapwing roosting up for the evening. A Water Rail was calling from the watery edge below where I was standing.

The Starling roost was pretty uneventful but the presence of 2 Marsh Harrier circling the area before they bedded down for the night.
