A brief visit to No.6 tank after work and a good selection of birds on offer. A gathering of 57 Tufted Duck, 2 Gadwall, 134 Shoveler, 200 Common Teal and 34 Common Shelduck.

100 Black-tailed Godwit were joined by 120 Redshank, 45 Dunlin, 2 Avocet and 200 Golden Plover all in summer plumage. All the shorebirds rose together when a female Marsh Harrier moved through.

The usual Peregrine was again present on the blue-topped chimney over at Weston Point.
