No 6 Tank: 1 eclipse drake Wigeon, 79 Shelduck, 12 Teal, 15 Pochard, 183 Tufted Duck, 1 Little Egret, 478 Black-tailed Godwit, 100+ Swift, 1 Sand Martin, 2 Sedge Warblers, 3 Reed Warbler, 1 Blackcap and 1 Chiffchaff.

Weaver Bend: 65 Shelduck (plus lots of ducklings, many diving for food), 70 Tufted Duck, 8 Great Crested Grebes, 4 Oystercatchers, 14 Avocet, 15 Black-tailed Godwits, 61 Redshanks, 5 Common Sandpipers, 50+ Swifts and 1 Sedge Warbler.

We dropped in on the marsh late in the day and managed a walk along the track above No.6 tank and with some of Greg’s sightings we added 43 Raven leaving Frodsham Score and heading south east over Fox Hill. Also a female Marsh Harrier and singing Lesser Whitethroat along Moorditch Lane.
