I spent an hour at the Weaver Bend this afternoon. There were a few Drinker moth caterpillars and thousands of mosquitos plus a Brimstone and two Small Tortoiseshell butterflies.
The Cuckoo was along the Redwall reed bed and there were 8 Great Crested Grebe and a single Little Grebe on the River Weaver. The Black Swan was also about.
