18.08.14. Birdlog
A short walk this afternoon along Holpool Gutter to the Manchester Ship Canal and a male Marsh Harrier being harassed by the ever present Raven. There was a solitary Little Egret in a field alongside the gutter with 3 more little Egret out on Frodsham Score. The juvenile Marsh Harrier reappeared out on the score with many more Raven playing in the breeze. Finally, a Green Sandpiper on the shallow pool alongside No.4 tank concluded an eventful walk.
