A dusk watch from the banks of No.6 tank was typically low key but still managed an adult Little Egret. The bird was a little nervous with a much bigger Grey Heron lurking close by.
34 Common Teal, 14 Tufted Duck, 60 Mallard, 2 Gadwall and 54 Common Shelduck. The sound of bickering Common Sandpiper rang out loud on the muddy margins, while a single Dunlin, Little Ringed and 2 Ringed Plover were along the waters edge.
An atmospheric scene over No.5 tank this evening.
