The Weaver estuary held 78 Tufted Duck and a pair displaying Redshank. Across the marsh on No.6 tank were 80 Tufted Duck and the male Marsh Harrier was out roaming.

30.04.14. Avocet and Tufted Duck, Frodsham Marsh. Bill MortonThe ‘Shooters pools’ still have the Avocet in situ and a flock of Whimbrel flew up river. Whitethroat, Sedge Warbler and Reed Warbler were in full voice along the Weaver causeway.

A Grasshopper Warbler sang on the banks beside Lordship Lane.
