45 Common Shelduck, 20 Common Teal, 3 male Common Pochard, 21 Tufted Duck and 21 Gadwall all in varying stages of summer moult, 200 Icelandic Black-tailed Godwit and 2 Redshank graced No 6 tank and a male Marsh Harrier was ranging widely. 700 Swift over the marsh.
Passerines were still belting out their songs with Reed, Sedge, Chiffchaff, Goldfinches and Skylark adding a flavour of summer song. Also noted a female Yellow Wagtail.
2 Yellow Wagtail and a singing Grasshopper Warbler along Moorditch Lane.
