A recently dead adolescent Badger on Brook Furlong Lane (looks like it had been hit by a car). Lots of Linnet and Meadow Pipit on No 1 and 2 tanks also a hovering Kestrel. No.6, 5 and 3 tanks had hundreds of swifts and some House Martin which can be seen in the murky photo of Stanlow (below). Additionally on No 6 were 2 Redshank and a Ringed Plover.
Straight Length Lane had a male Yellow Wagtail. Nearby Godscroft Lane is overflowing with recently fledged chicks which include House Sparrow, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Goldfinch and Robin sadly no Tree Sparrow as yet.
