First light saw the above 2 Canada’s with a Barnacle Goose flying off No 6 tank and 20 Pink-footed Geese did likewise.

A Little Ringed Plover on No 6 tank and 2 Wheatear on No 2 tank by the brick drainage towers and 50 Fieldfare on the meadow at Redwall.

No 6 tank: c160 Common Teal, 9 Tufted Duck, 9
1 Redshank, 2 Little Ring Plover and 30 Black-tailed Godwit.
Lordship lane along south side of No 4 tank were lots of Reed Bunting along lane both sides, chaffinch’s feeding in small groups in stubble and at least 2 Brambling in with them 20 Linnet. Three pairs of displaying Lapwing, 6 Snipe in muddy field west end of lane and c40 Curlew, 7 Redshank in grassy field with 39 Mute Swan and 2 Whooper Swan
25 Golden Plover flying over No3 tank and only 3 Raven there.
5 Wheatear sheltering from the icy wind below the bank on the approach track to Marsh Farm.
