Two Ruddy Shelduck hybrids returned and this time I managed to get a record shot (see below). Answers on a postcard regarding their likely Shelduck/Egyptian parentage?

200 Teal,10 Wigeon, a group of 12 Shovelers performing a spinning circle on mass in the shallow waters ( Phalarope fashion) on the tank was really impressive. Additionally 8 Pintail continue to feed up on the pools with 17 Black-tailed Godwit (including two colour ringed birds).

A juvenile Water Rail reappeared on the pools on No 6 tank. Image by Paul Crawley.

3 Raven were over No 5 tank. Meanwhile both Jay, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Grey Wagtail and 2 Willow Warbler along the north bank of No 6 tank were moving through.

A Hobby was over No 4 tank at dusk (MP).
