08.0912. Birdlog

9 Wigeon and 3 Pintail were in the teal flock on No 6 tank. A single  Black-tailed Godwit was the best from a meagre selection. 5 Raven were over Helsby Hill at dusk. The first Goldcrest of the autumn was in the hawthorn tree at the viewing platform.

Below are details of a colour ringed Black-tailed Godwit (double red over left knee and green over white over right knee) observed at No 6 tank on 3rd September 2012 by Arthur Harrison and WSM.
