Morning Watch: 4 Ruddy Shelduck, 500 Teal, 5 Wigeon, 4 Pintail, Common Snipe and 1 Green Sandpiper on No 6 tank. 2 Swifts over No 5 tank, 40 Pied/White and 4 Yellow Wagtails also on No 6 tank.

Evening Watch: For the last few days the Ruddy Shelducks have been feeding on the tank in the morning and then flying out to the estuary during the day.Today was no exception and all four birds were picked up as they came a honking and alighting in at 7.00 pm.
500 Teal also attracted 12 Wigeon, 8 Pintail, 24 Shoveler, and 20 Gadwall. 9 Black-tailed Godwit on No 6 tank and 127 Curlew on No 5 tank spent their time feeding, preening and sleeping. A Short-eared Owl was watched in the fine evening light hunting along the embanked No 5 and No 6 tanks.
