A Birds Eye View of Frodsham Marsh

Views of Frodsham Marsh from above.

A view of the marsh approaching from the south-east  with the small town of Frodsham sprawled out south of the M56 motorway.

The River Weaver meandering through the Cheshire countryside before abruptly cut short by the Weaver Sluice Gates at Weston Point.

The Weaver Bend and estuary with Weston Point and Runcorn threatening to spill over at the water’s edge.

Weston Point with the Manchester Ship Canal joining the River Weaver and separating Frodsham Marsh from the River Mersey.

…And finally a view from the west looking back to Frodsham and above the Mersey estuary.
