09.07.12. Birdlog

During the evening smaller numbers of Black-tailed Godwits were coming in and going out to the estuary. 21 Teal, 22 Gadwall and an eclipse male Wigeon, 30 Redshank, 15 Ringed Plover, and 60 Dunlin.

Two Arctic Terns came in from the east and headed straight out to the estuary calling on the way.  1st summer, 2nd summer and adult summer Mediterranean Gull present throughout. A Little Egret joined the 500 strong Black-headed Gulls roosting up on the tank.
